Introduction
 
Photographed at San Pedro, Manu cloudforest, Peru. Altitude 1400m. Kindly identified by Martin Honey as "a species of Pantherodes (Geometridae). There are a number of very similar looking species but this may be colubraria Guenée, 1858". Wingspan circa 5cms.
